Question beet tops??

ok to feed rabbits beet tops? I am canning pickled beets and didn't know whether to give the tops to the bunnies or not...................

Mine love them and will eat the roots too. If any are too small to can.

Yes, beet tops are fine for buns if they are accustomed to greens. If this is the first time for feeding these, feeding with other greens may be best. Be prepared for possible changes in colour of urine or poops.

BTW, young beet greens are wonderful for humans too... in stir fries, soups etc. or as a veggie as a spinach subsitute.
