Ooooh, I wants some of those! I saw them at the rabbit show on Saturday and they're definitely on the list.

They come in lilac, and opal, and blue, and white, and broken colours and lots and lots more.

so what is the difference between blue and lilac? Is blue darker? Confusing. I should post the pics of some of my littles, I'm just not sure of what their colours are. One is almost black, but not quite....looks softer than the other broken blacks, and the ones that aren't are broken somethings....Blue? Lilac? Lynx?

Blues tend to be darker and the color is more intense. Since lilac is a dilute chocolate, they have a brownish tint that comes across as being pinkish.

I believe my buck is a chinchilla color..he's gorgeous and oh so soft!

My old buck (the one someone poisoned) was a broken colored rex and was such a sweetheart.

Dang what a beautiful black rabbit ther D29. Tell me how well do they handle heat in the high 90's. I heard black rabbits are really bad for heat. Still lookn at more other colors.

I've raised just about every variety of MR there is(except BEW). I've never had an issue with darker animals and heat, as I have a protected barn. I;m in SE Louisiana and our temps get very high.

I've grown attached to the otters, but I'll never leave the selfs. I also am working on chinchillas and tortoise.

Great to know the black don't have no heat issues. We found a breeder for the red/white broken, black and maybe some other colors. We are very pickie on what colors we will be breeding for pet sells later.

Does anyone have any other pics of cholcate or solid red?
