I am a new member new - but have been a "lucker" for a while. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi! My family currently raises English Angoras, Fuzzy Lops, Harliquins and a couple of "meat" rabbits. We have been raising rabbits for about 2 years and we really enjoy them. My children show in 4H and at fiber shows. We feed our rabbits hay and pellets through the winter and supplement as much as we can in the summer and fall with fresh things from the garden and weeds. I am very interested in reading more about natural feeding methods and really look forward to getting to know all of you!

Hi! I'm new here too.

I have Americans, New Zealands, Dutch, French Lop, and my lovely wife has a bunch of Angoras.

Have a good day!

Welcome to the rabbit forum, Northprairiegir!

Whereabouts are you located? It helps a lot if you add your state or province to your profile so that it shows up on your posts. Conditions vary so much by area and it makes it easier to answer questions if you know.

I have a small backyard rabbitry of meat mutts, mainly for our own table. I went pellet-free last year and now feed hay, greens (lots of weeds), safe tree twigs, some vegetables, and grain. There are some "sticky" threads at the top of the page with extensive discussions of natural feeding. You should find them interesting and I look forward to your input as well!
