For those who wonder about nutrition

I have been planning on feeding my family mostly from our land. The biggest part of this was going to be rabbit meat, fresh eggs and fruits and veggies from the garden. A while back I read a post about rabbit meat not being a complete meat. So, tonight my insomnia led me to research this and here are my findings.
For a person of 200lbs or less eating two servings of rabbit (6oz total) a day along with two eggs will provide almost everything you need. If you make your 6 daily servings of carbs all whole grains, eat your daily requirement of fruits and vegetables including lots of dark green leafies and good variety, along with one serving of nuts every day and three servings of milk your diet will be complete! And low fat might I add!

While I'm talking about nutrition I just have to speak out against fat free salad dressings. You need to eat some fat with all those vegies because some very important vitamins in there are fat soluble! Bring on the oil!

For anyone wanting to do some nutritional research here's a wonderful resource.

The diet you suggest sounds very healthy to me. Tasty too.

You know, when you start thinking about it, if you do try to get in five servings of fruit and veggies, plus the whole grains, plus dairy, plus.... that comes out to a lot of very tasty food each day!

I doubt any one meat would be "complete". I don't think eating only beef or only pork for example would be complete. I think you'd need to add nuts, whole grains, legumes, etc. to any single meat to make a complete diet.

I just looked at the time stamp of your post. Gee, you DID have insomnia! Thanks for sharing your findings.

The only way rabbit would be a problem is if you ate only rabbit. no veggies, dairy, eggs ,carbs or other meat.
