carrying straw

The doe was bread on Aug 24 ,due on sept 23 or 24 . When DW put hay in cage as food the doe started carrying it like she wanted to build a nest. The question is do I give her a nest box or wait until her regular box date?

If she wants to nest-- why not encouage it, and give her a box? Just make sure it stays clean.

I would give her a box now if she wants to nest. I would suspect a false prenancy but would wait and see just in case it wasn't.

I would also suspect false pregnancy. However, my rabbits have been making a bloody fool of me this last week (durned sex-change fairy!!!) so don't go by my opinion - AT ALL!!!!
