false pregnancy?

I ask this question earlier before the crash. My doe was bred on I think the 6th of March and at about 15 days later when I put hay in her pen to eat she started putting large amounts in her mouth and taking it to one corner. I put her nest box in and she put all of the hay in the box and the next morning had a very nice nest made with lots of hair, but no babies. She is about 7 month old and bred the month before but did not have babies. She is a NZ. Could it be that she is still pregnant or possibly a false pregnancy? Should I wait till her due date or possibly put her in with a buck now? Thanks

Wait a few days to a weeks past her due date before rebreeding. It's been what, 19 days? She's still got time.

In my experience, when a "bred" doe starts nest-building around day 17, 18, 19 - it's a false pregnancy. Hope this helps. Just my 2¢.
