Don't put all your eggs in one basket...

or in your pocket. Yep, I got mine. Bent over to pick up an egg in the bedding and broke the two in my pocket. What a mess...chickens are still laughing! Oh well, I needed to wash my barn jacket anyway...

I've made a few pocket omelets myself from time to time.

Been there, done that.
In the winter, my one coat has deep pockets. I can put quite a few in each side.
I make sure my cell phone is in my pants pocket. My usual is to bump something,
when I do break one. Not too often it happens. Just when I need 1 or 2 eggs
to complete a dozen to finish a order, it seems.

I haven't broke one yet but I always think I might when I put them in my pocket.
Good to know that when I do, I am in good company

I've put them in my front sweatshirt kangaroo pocket, forgot them, then got in the truck and smashed them when I put on my seatbelt.

This just happened to my three year old daughter two mornings in a row. Wifey kinda poked fun at her and BOOM! happened to her that evening. The boy and I just keep our mouths shut and grin.

I was very careful with the egg in my pocket after reading this post. I've broke plenty in my pockets, and one even went through the wash!

I just did this not long ago. I had gotten most of the eggs already. I went in the coop to lock them up for the night and there were 2 eggs. I put them in my coat pocket to later add to the egg bucket. I got sidetracked. I need to put the snow plow on the 4wheeler to clear the driveway. I layed down on the ground to attach the plow. I then proceeded to back it out of the pole barn and close the overhead door. (still didn't remember the eggs) I needed to get a paper towel out of my pocket. Dug right into the pocket that once contained 2 whole eggs. Nothing but cold slime mixed with bits of shell. Definitely woke me up. Cleaned out my pocket and hands and plowed the driveway.
