Breeding problem.

My turkeys cany breed naturally. What do i do?

If they are the Broad Breasted and still fairly young, you can try raising them like 'real' turkeys.
Out free ranging or on pasture and not as much feed, but more grass and chasing bugs.
If they maintain a more normal size and weight, he may be able to get the job done.

If not, then next year try to get some heritage breed turkeys that can breed.

Still better to incubate the eggs though. Turkeys are delicate and turkey hens are kind of slack moms.

Maybe i should just try to find another breed that can breed and hatch there own eggs. Any suggestions?

Broad Breasted Hens can mate naturally with Non Broad Breasted toms collect all their eggs and put them in the incubator, non BB hens can hatch their own eggs but with out adequate assistance in some way to keep them safe they don't normally raise many on their own,

Thanks. I think ima going to try and cross breed them with a royal palm and see if i can get a medium size bird.
