Turkey creep feeder (cow proof)??

I have the young poults in the same area as our little dexter milk cow. I do not want her eating the turkey feed. I was thinking that it would be nice to pour the feed to them from outside the fenced area to save some time. I have two of the metal 4 inch wide 2 inch deep and 5 feet long poultry feeders. I put them along the outside of the fence today, the turkeys figured it out quickly to stick their heads through the field fencing to get to the feed. But the cow also pushed at the fence and licked through it to get the wheat out. Is there a simple wooden cove that I could make for the turkeys feed that the cow wont get through? I would use the plastic feeders I have with the head holes, but I am sure the puppy would eat the feeder
