Said I Wasn't Gonna Do It!

This was going to be the year of no hatching of eggs. Today, while cleaning up outside (we're supposed to have 6" of snow by morning), I found 28 duck eggs in several spots/nests. No one has been incubating these eggs, that I am certain.

Because they've been out for a while, can't sell or eat them, so I fired up the incubator and set all the eggs.

Not sure if I'll get much of a hatch because the eggs have been out in the cold so long, but I have seen all the duck breeding like crazy. Should be an interesting blend of breeds...Runner, Magpie, Silky, Mallard and Khaki.

I just couldn't waste them!

If you can hatch them you can eat them.
