The geese are starting to lay and are making nest in the worse place possible .The little lamb is lucky that they aren't broody yet

Geese are right up there with goats as "best personalities on the farm". Such characters!

How do geese tend to do with hawks during the day? Will they beat the snot out of them or are they just another meal?

Hawks around here don't mess with them. Wish I could say that about the chickens. Crows will eat the eggs if they don't cover them good enough. I have a couple of young geese that haven't figured out to cover them so I have to be on my toes to get them before the crows.
