socializing ducklings who were hatched by a chicken
Curious, but I have a broody hen sitting on 4 duck eggs for me. They all appear to be developing so I'm expecting here in 2.5 weeks to have ducklings. If they imprint on a chicken, will they eventually join my clan of "marauding waterfowl"- the goose and other 3 ducks? I'm so far expecting mama hen to raise the babies, she did a great job with her chicks last fall so I expect she'll do great with these too....I'm prepared either way though
