Infectious Coryza

Has anyone successfully cured this?

Baytril is supposed to clear it up, however, treated birds can become carriers.

Mortality is very low, I wouldn't try to cure it. In a week or so they will be ok.

But chances are they'll always have it.

In my birds the one time I had a bird that showed those symptoms I immediately culled it on the spot, sanitized everything it had come within ten feet of, then prophylactically treated every bird it had come near.

Nothing since has ever shown any of those symptoms.

Well, they arrived here on the 20th with it, and they still have it. They're on day 4 on duramycin, but that doesn't seem to be helping. I just started spraying them with oxine as well. And salt water hasn't helped in opening up the eyes on the ones with the sealed eyes
