Those chicks look just like my brown leghorn chicks. Doubt mine will be as flashy as yours when adults.

Did you order the chicks or hatch them?

We have ring neck pheasants around here in the Spring. The 4 H kids raise them and release them. They usually don't last too long since they gravitate to the highway and get run over. Ysterday though I heard a commotion in the chicken yard and the unmistakable call of a male pheasant. I was working in the greenhouse and looked out to see a gray colored pheasant with a very long tail racing between the greenhouses. He did not look like a regular brown ring neck. Is there a gray version?

250 chicks we ordered them from Mcfarlands. I have another 250 coming at the end of the month. Mommagoose, there are many color variations of the ringneck.
