Frozen eggs again

can they still be used? my new hens are just starting to kick in with the laying, and with travel I'm not here every night. With our really cold temps the last few days I'm finding some of the eggs frozen before I can gather them. Can these still be used as normal, or should I just mix them in with the dog food after the thaw out?

I use mine as long as they aren't cracked much....don't want bacteria getting in there. You'll find the whites of frozen eggs don't hold their shapr too well.

I think I used a frozen duck egg for breakfast this morning. I was making scrambled eggs and the last one I cracked into the bowl had a hazy looking white, not clear like the others.

We're still alive so I reckon it was okay to eat!

frozen eggs can be eaten, they just turn somewhat strange (rubbery is the word I think).

my problem with eating the eggs that have frozen in the chicken house is that they crack when frozen, and now fall in the "it's cracked (in the chicken house) don't eat you could get sick" catigory. now if it was cracked in the house - after washing- and you use it right away it will be fine.

You can still feed them to the animals no problem.
