cough?

I have a hen that is coughing? She stretches her neck out and it almost sounds like a cackle.. Some of the crazy hens got a hold of a styrofoaam cooler and ate bits of it. Could this be her problem, or do you think it's a disease? She's eating,drinking, and laying fine. Thanks for any ideas...

Can you catch her and look down her throat with a flashlight? It may be gape worm or it could be a respiratory illness. Also check for yellow plaques in her mouth and under her eyelids.
