How long until feathers grow back?

About 3 weeks ago, our horse got ahold of a hen. She was trying to help clean up the feed, and our horse didn't feel like sharing! lol. The horse picked our chicken up by the feathers on her back and threw her a few feet. She was fine other than missing a huge chunk of feathers on her back. The bare patch is also a little red too. How long will it take for her feathers to start growing back in?

shouldnt be too long, as long as it was just pulled feathers instead of torn skin. the feathers grow back pretty quick. especially if she had a good diet of foods.
