A Tale of 3 eggs

got these 3 (along with some others) today. First one is a smallish egg, typical of the first effort from some chicken. The second is pretty regular for us, its a little larger than grocery store "extra large" or "jumbo" grade. The third one is eggzilla.

Wow, it looks huge compared to the first one's! Is it from a chicken? Looks like a duck or goose egg.

Candle it! All you need is a small flashlight and a dark room.

weigh it! and share the results

our largest egg, from a chicken, has been 3.5 oz. Average weight is around 2.4 or so. We've got a 'book of records' for the farm and it's fun to log the bigs and the littles!
