What to do w/ stray ckn??

I have a Dominique pullet that was in our drive. It looks ok, now wounds, blood or injury. I have checked with all my neighbors but no one claims her. I have her isolated from the other girls, she has fresh water w/ electrolytes and both high quailty bird seed and laying pellets. She looks to be about 18weeks old...

When should I worm, dust for mites, lice?? Anything I should be doing??? Tnks...QB

Isolate her, keep watch. I wouldn't worm her unless you see masses of worms in her poop. check the vent for signs of lice or mites...check her legs for any sign of scaley leg mites. check her eyes for any sign of mucus or watering.

That's about it.

dust her for mites, watch her for a couple weeks and if all is well you have a new pullet that should start laying before long,

Boy, can she eat! As soon as I put the food in her bowl she starts... I am leaving it full 24/7 and water. I'll dust her Wed.--rain until then. No problems so far.. She will come out of her pen as soon as she hears the other chickens and she makes litttle noises.. I hope this works out..
