Mountain Laurel and Hogs

We just rotated our hogs (American Guinea Hogs) to a new wooded area yesterday and, this morning when I went out to water, I noticed a pretty significant stand of Mountain Laurel in their new area.

1. I know it's deadly to goats. Is it toxic to pigs, and will they even eat it?

2. How can we safely eradicate it?

These are areas we'd eventually like to move our goats through, so I need the ML completely gone.

Have a timber harvest and ask the skidder operator to run it down. I work in forestry and that's the most effective way of clearing areas.
