gilt farrowed, now shivering what do i do?

mY gilt farrowed this morning. 7 born 6 survived.

She is now shivering like crazy. Plenty of straw. Heat lamps.

I shivered like this after I had my own children.

Should I do anything more?

Shivering can be a sign of pain. Is she otherwise normal?

Since she just gave birth and just started providing milk, it is probably hypocalcemia. The symptoms and history are classic for that.
I'm just not sure how/what to use for swine. Injection is best, but if nothing else just give her some Ca by mouth if you have it. Hypocalcemia can lead to death pretty quickly in animals if not treated. I would use what you have as soon as you can.

Is she better? Did the calcium seem to help or were there other problems?

Yes she is much better! Thanks

We have now moved on to the other sow and her skin issues.

If it isn't one thing its another.

I can't imagine doing this for a living!
