Lard hogs

I have read here that the AGHs are lard hogs and having seen pictures they look like the cob rollers of the late 19th century.

What other lard breeds are still left these days ? I know you can feed most about any hog too fat and get lard, but I am more interested in lard hog breeds.

I remmber the berkshires with the stubby noses and the old time poland chinas I think the modern breeds have just about eleminated the old time hogs that our grandfathers raised that would get so fat they could hardly walk the new hampshires and durocks are mostly meat and are what I prefer to raise that extra fat and lard is expencive and usally just goes to waste
