He looks good to me, too. The experts will have more to say about it, but what I like to see in a pig is a body that isn't packing on wallowing fat. I like to see a long back, because a long back gives more pork cops and more bacon.
That leaner build gives a leaner bacon. His hams look nicely rounded, but I can't see from the photo how fat his hams are. I like to see a really bulky ham.
I'd bet he has a nice layer of back fat that isn't too thick. I want some fat, but if you get too much fat, it is wasted weight.
Besides, his markings look pretty and he looks in glowing good health.
