Did you check out the breeder listings on the AGHA website? They also have a classifieds section, and the ALBC has a classified section too, worth a look.

How far are you from Millersburg, Ohio? I have a friend at church that told me that her dad should have some next year. So, if you don't have any before then, let me know and I'll get the details for you.

I'm 4 hours from Millersburg.

I looked over the AGHA site - and nothing was as close as I'd hoped.

What type of price is fair for a breeding pair or unrelated piglets?

Prices can really vary, I've seen per pig (registered) prices from $125 up to $400.

Try contacting the breeders closest to you that you find, even if they are too far, they may know of closer breeders that aren't advertising.

If you are ever down toward Alabama, I have a two year old sow and boar for sale. They are from the same litter. I also have two gilts that she had about 6 weeks ago. They were sired by a boar we brought from North carolina earlier this year.
