pig vomit...

One of our 12 week old piglets vomited today, and is looking sluggish. Havent wormed yet could that be a cause? I havent given any antibiotics yet, trying to avoid those but will do anything to make him feel better. Feeding him Pig and Sow, various scraps once a day from the kitchen, and electrolites when needed. Going to get wormer in the morning, just wondering about the vomit, and possible causes. Thanks...LUKE

I have had pigs vomit when they get greedy and eat too quickly, especially is they eat dry feed and don't drink. Also if their water is hot or too cold. If it's just the one time I wouldn't be too concerned.

Take his temp first and see if it is out of range. If his temp is fine then it's probably just something he ate...

Worms are a possibility but you should see symptoms in the other pigs.
