looking for piglets in NW New Mexico

Hi ALL!

Anyone in Northwest New Mexico have a couple of piglets for sale (cheap)?

These will be used for household meat. At this point, (first time raising pigs) I'm not interested in breeding stock.....just some piglets to raise for the freezer!

Could also travel to north-eastern AZ or SW Colorado to pick up piglets.

Please send me a "private message" if you have or will have some low-cost piglets for sale or know where in this area I might acquire a couple of 'em.

THANKS,
Bruce
P.S. No Javelina, thank you.........(greasy buggers!)

Hi Bruce, am in E-NE Arizona. Around here weaner pig sellers usually have a note posted in the local feed stores.
Going price seems to be $50.
If you decide to grow your own, and don't want big pigs, we are selling pot belly pigs.

Hi bbbuddy!

Thanks for the price estimate! Sounds about what I expected.

I'm looking for full-size pigs...but will keep you in mind if I can't find any of those.

E-NE Arizona could be around Holbrook?

I'm just outside of Gallup, NM

Hi bbbuddy!
You are really not very far away from me.

Someone once said: "An American thinks that a hundred years is a Long Time."
"An Englishman thinks that a hundred miles is a Long Way."

Ha-Ha!

Hi Neighbor!

I'm thinking that I may take as many as 4. At least 2 should be female.

Maybe someone in this general geographical area will see this post and have the piglets or maybe know someone who does......
