Pig housing

I am looking for winter housing for my pigs. I plan on keeping 3 sows and 1 boar. I live in central Ontario so winters are cold. I also would prefer something I could move to different pastures with the tractor. And easy to clean.

I have 4 walls up and a door (plywood) and then im going to take and fill up the sides with straw and if I feel its necessary, I might wrap it all in a tarp so it keeps out any breezes. The only thing i am not sure about is how I will keep the door way open from snow. I will need to create something that would not allow the snow to build up at the door.

Rob30, we keep our pigs outdoors through the winter here in northern Vermont. Our shelters are pretty simple, basically three sided sheds. Here are some links for articles and photos:

The big issue is protecting them from wet bedding and wind. Then provide lots of dry hay or straw.
