Question mystery-"illness?"

Could anyone come up with an idea-one by one, the animals in my herd are coming up with limping in the back left leg only-the first two had swelling at the joint, and limped for quite awhile, it slowly went away-since then, nearly daily, a different one will be limping in the a.m.-always the left back leg-some only limp for a day or two, some for up too a week, seems tp slowly get better with no after effects-my buck has been limping for several days now,as is the new mom-now this morning yet a different doe is doing it!!We have tried to eliminate anything they could be catching their legs on, or stepping on, or getting stung-but why always the left back leg? Is their some strange disease, that the first sympton is "limping in the back left leg?"We have checked hooves for burrs between the toes, signs of hoof rot,-any visable marks on ankles etc. It is a very strange mystery!

.
I have a goat with horns that will hook another goats back leg between her horns ( because they are close together ) and give the leg a hard jerk or two, and the other goat will limp for a few days.

You could have a goat that likes to ram others in the back legs.

It kinda does sound like a case of another goat beating on the others, although I am by far no expert. If one of the goats that has not had this happen to them and does not, that is your best bet. Well hope the problem gets solved, and stops. Bye.
