Real Excitement at Albion PA Fair yesterday

At the Albion Fair, in PA yesterday, during the goat judging, one of the pygmy goats thought it would be a great time to give birth. She had to be carried out to the judge and carried back to her pen and while her competition strutted their stuff, Prego had twins - a buck and a doe.

...and by the way...she took the blue ribbon!

I saw them !!! I didn't think goats could be that little...I swear they could have fit in my purse. Mama's name was Prego and the one baby's name is Ragu and I can't remember the name of the other one.

Then I got a ticket on the raffle of a pigmy goat....ohhhhh I hope I win !!

Right...mama is Prego (like the spaghetti sauce), daughter is Ragu and son is Ar-Dee (like Chef Boyardee). Good luck winning "Buddy". He's a dear thing.

Unhappy

OK, everyone can have their opinion. Shouldn't that doe have been left at home in peace, quiet and familiar surroundings to give birth. The stress of moving, showing etc...not good?...Joan

Well, since Mama and babies are doing fine, I'd say it's a moot point.
