First Goats

OK very soon we will be moving to our 10 acres And I will be in need of some goats. What would make A few good first goats. The area that they will start in is fenced and has three stalls although the brush was to overgrown for me to get in them. The land has been sitting empty for atleast
6 monthes and from the look of it this was a goat area before there is a very tall house that has a ramp going up to it.I am looking for something to help get the family aquaited with goats

I like Boers because they are big, huggable, friendly, careful around little people, and got a lot more room in their stomachs for bushes. Oh yeah you can also get a lot of money for babies and the Bucks don't smell as bad as pygmies, imo.

Are you saying that Pygmy bucks smell worse than any other bucks? I thought that all bucks had their own "aroma". I don't really think of them as stinking they just have their own smell. Personally I can't stand the smell of rabbits!
