Keep on eye on your goats. Only a few of mine would eat it and the rest started looking ratty after a few months. Had to go back to my previous feeding routine. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, just make sure everyone is eating off of it.

I've used sweetlix for three years, they have a good mix of minerals for goats. I find that the sheep/goat works really well, it doesn't have the copper that a goat can handle, but I use the Purina goat mix sometimes too and they don't seem to be lacking in copper. I have been hoping they would make them just for goats!

The sweetlix require the goat to work a little but it crumbles right off the block for them. I love them. Let me know how you do with the "meat maker." Maybe I could use that for the Boers.

I just read that there is the Meat Maker and the Meat Maker with Rumensen. I'd make sure to get the one with out! Rumensen can do funny things, I've heard.
