They are here!

After much waiting and anticipation....our goat Abbey had 2 bucklings this afternoon. Ofcourse this was the first time that everyone was gone from the house in over 2 weeks. She is doing fine, they are nursing great.
Abbey is 50% boer, and their dad is 100% Nubian.
They are so beautiful!!

Well there isn't much to tell. LOL
I had the momma in with the buck at a friends house.
They were there for 3 or so weeks. My friend called the day she saw the buck mounting her and I wrote it down.
So we figured she would be due LAST Sunday. That Sunday she started with a little bit of mucus discharge. Then nothing. We waited and checked and waited.
NOTHING! ALL WEEK!
So yesterday we all had to be out of the house at a fair, we checked on her before we left and I said "well Abbey we are leaving nows your chance."
LOL!
We came home to find two little bucklings nursing away. We had to clean up the afterbirth and I dipped the cords. That was about it. They sure are cute and sturdy little guys.
One ? though, friends of ours breed and I think they mentioned giving the babies BOSE when they are born. How much??

They are adorable. I'm going to buy another buck asap after I move to my land. My girls should be ready to breed in September and I want babies and milk. Tell mommy she did good.
