Space for goats

I was wondering how much space I would need for two nigerian dwarfs. I plan on building a small shed for them inside my chicken run. My 25 chickens have a big coop in a fenced area about 5,000 sq. feet. Would this be a bid enough area for my chickens and the two goats or should I fence some more space? Thanks for any advice

I would be interested to know this also. I had a farmer more my pasture to make it easier to work up a large market garden spot, but I don't want to short the animals.

I'm thinking that should be enough depending on the plants growing in there (or lack thereof). I don't think 25 chickens should be able to denude 5000 sq ft especially if it's long and narrow with their coop at one end. And a couple of small goats shouldn't put that much pressure on it [see first line].

No need to get sarcastice, Chris. A simple bump will do.

If your area is really 5,000 square feet, like 50 feet by 100 feet, you should have no problem at all with 25 chickens and a few goats of any size.

I had 12 chickens, two Nigerians and an Oberhasli in an area about half that size, and there was still lots of grass. Of course, everyone had bought in feed. No one was depending on the grass for their basic nutrition.
