Question Is Peroxid safe on Goats?

One of our goats goat her head stuck in the fence today, and while trying to free her I noticed that she had a large sore on her tail area. When my mom came out to take care of her head she told me to put peroxid on the sore, we just got through getting the stuff on her, but what I now need to know is if that was a good idea. I mean can it hurt them?I was in too much of a hurry to begin with but now I just need to know. If you can just tell me, then maybe I can stop worrying so much.
Bye,
Goat Freak

Peroxide

Peroxide is fine on goats. I like it for open wounds as it cleans them out better than I could do with scrubbing.
