Finally - our newest arrivals
After a good 24 hours of vocal labor our doe, Jezebel, finally delivered my birthday presents. (was dry birth post) It was the weirdest, yet normal birth I have ever seen! Her first 16 hours of labor she cried and cried, I really thought something was wrong. The last part of her labor, up until the last few good hard pushes, she was absolutely quiet. I couldn't even hear her on the baby monitor, so I ended up having to stay up all night long with her, and then when she was pushing she took forever! I swear she was pushing for an hour at least.
I expected trouble, but we got 2 beautiful kids, a buckling and a doeling, Willy Goat and Snorkie respectively. As a proud Grandma, please indulge me while I post some pictures, because with any luck...this will be our last goat babies for a good long while!
