Any trouble with bottle-baby Nannies??

Hi all,
Well, I think BOTH my girls are preggers, and I have a question about the one I bottle fed when she was a baby.

Will she have all the correct mothering instincts? Her mother refused her, so she NEVER got the nanny-love.

Thanks! -Jill

I have a 3yo bottle nanny who does just fine with her babies. However, once I start milking her in the evenings...when her kids are close to a month old...sometimes she is stand-offish with them so I just hold her collar in her kidding stall and treat her while the babies nurse...it only takes a few times before she just lets the babies have their way and everyone is happy.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Some bottle babies make great moms, some will refuse the kids altogether, no matter what you do. You'll definitely want to keep a close eye on her the first few days to be sure they are nursing, and have a contingency plan.
