Dallas area goat breeders

[Buffy in Dallas]

I am looking for goat breeders that are in our area. That would be Dallas, Collin, Hunt, Fannin counties in Texas. We could even go to a surrounding county for a nice goat. I am looking for nubians and boer goats. Can anyone recomend a breeder in this area?

If you aren't busy this Saturday, there is a show in Wetherford, just to the west of Fort Worth. The show is just out past their court house, easy to find. The milkers show in the morning, so come early. Check out the goats and take home cards from those who have goats for sale. Boers should be fairly easy to find, there is one behind every tree in Texas Goatandsheeprancher on yahoogroups.com also just put boergoat and Texas in the search. There is also the ETGRA that is just south of you in Lufkin, they have monthly sales, and are also on Yahoo groups. Vicki

My uncle and I both raise Boer goats. There are also a couple of breeders in Allen, one in Whitewright, and a couple in Sherman. There is going to be a Boer goat sale in Sherman at Loy Lake Park on June 25th. If you will let me know what you are looking for I'll bet I can find it for you. BTW I still haven't found a California buck. I bred my California doe to a Giant Spot that a buddy of mine has. Found some does at Trades Day but no bucks. Have you found one yet?

There will be approximately 108 head of percentage and full blood Boer Goats
offered in the Celebrate Summer III Joint Production Sale on Saturday. There
are colored and traditional goats being offered in this sale. The sale will
be held at the Rusk County Expo Center in Henderson, Texas. A complimentary
lunch (Smoked Brisket, smoked chicken, potato salad, beans, all of the
trimmings, and tea) will be served at around 11:30. Mom will have plenty of
dump
cakes there too. The sale will start at 1:00 PM.
