Unusal knot on goat

We have a nanny goat approx. 5 months old, that has an unusal knot located on the left jaw just below the ear. The knot (or bump) is about the size of a quarter. Has anyone seen this and know of treatment. Thanks for response.

Howdy
I'd start by looking at the "What is CL? What is CAE?" link at the top of the dairy goat forum here and read up on CL or Caseous Lymphadenitis. A lump could be a number of things I'm sure, but I'd be thinking along these lines as a possibility if I found a lump in that area. Good luck.
