7% iodine is a component to making Methanphetamines, very hard to even get in some areas, need to order from Jeffers or other carriers.

No, we went by a feed store that we get all of our stuff from.
I had no idea. That is so soo sick. What are these people thinking putting this kind of poison in their bodies??
According to my neighbor I have just about everything I need to make meth, we've all be sick with the flu and pnemonia here, I've got cold stuff up the ying yang.
It's too valuable to us to do anything with but what it is intended to be used for!!

LOL!
Thanks!

How very odd! I buy 7% iodine by the gallon, needles, etc. Of course, I'm also buying vaccines, buckets, and on and on! I've never had anyone even blink at me!

I'm thinking it is because the store is in Oregon (we live in WA).
Meth is a HUGE problem out here near Portland.
In order to buy cold medicine I have to ask for it and then show my ID to get it.

It hurts to bump into the hard parts of the world, doesn't it?
Most of our time is spent so far from any mention of meth labs! Luckily!!!

And I think we've had three or four in the last year within my own county here. Heartland of America, where farmers OWN all the ingredients because they put them on their fields or use them for their animals. And now (thank Goodness!) they've put pseudoephedrine behind the counter and you can't buy more than two packages at a time... They're *trying* to cut back on the meth producers...it ain't easy!

I saw a report on the local station tonight that Target was going to start putting some cold meds behind the counter because of the meth problem, and you'd have to ask the pharmacist for them. Good grief, buying cold meds is confusing enough already!

Ye gads! I've thought of moving to sleepy little Iowa!
Maybe they should sell them all the pseudoephedrine they want, just put a tracker beacon in the package!
Take care!
