New kids are here!!!

Yay! I have 2 new kids! 75% la mancha kids. One is GoldenWood TY Flowering Willow and then the other is GoldenWood TY Red Chesnut. A boy and a girl..girl is identical to momma...strawberry blonde with star on forhead. Boy has same pattern as his daddy(his dad is a silver chamoisee) but he is like a light red chamoisee instead of silver. Very pretty boy and girl

Momma was a first freshener(with the most beautiful udder I might add

) and she so far milked out a little over 3 pounds of colostrum(she is holding milk up though..even without the kids on her so she will be producing more).

Is that a fair amount of milk for a first freshener??

Congratulations on your kids. I was so excited last Tuesday when my first time freshener had twins also. Have fun with them!!
