Ivermectin Injectable

Hello, is it ok to use ivermectin injectable orally as a drench? Someone told me that it is the pouron that should be administered orally. Thanks for your help...Dennis

Yes, it is given orally at the rate of 2cc per 100 lb.
for lice it is injected SQ at the rate of 1 cc per 100 lb.

Cydectin is the pour on you give orally to goats at the rate of 1cc per25 lb of body weight.

I was told it work orally-- it does not I ended up with worm over load about 3 years ago.. now I just give it SQ. Liz in NY

Ivomec injectable is to be used in goats, as a drench, unless you want to get rid of lice. At the rate of 1 cc per 35 - 50 lbs. This wormer will not get tapeworms. Sometimes you have to repeat the treatment, and it is good to use a different wormer the next time such as valbazen, (not in pregnant stock) 1 ml / per 10 lbs, valbazen does get tapeworms. or Cydectin 1 cc-25 lbs.

I have trouble in my area with safeguard it no longer works in My area of Northeastern Indiana.
