Clair had her first Kid

My Junior doe Clair had her first kid.....a little buckling

Clair had her first Kid - Goats

Mom and baby are doing fine but Clair is sure hard to milk with those little teats  Not like my older doe Maggie who is a breeze to milk.

Maggie is due next week...so was Clair but she kidded last Monday. And I planed my vacation around kidding time....NEXT week

Clair was line bred to a registered nubian buck. I am hoping to double up on a high milk producing line. But with a little buckling I'll just have to try again next breeding season.

The buckling is almost identical to the father with the addition of the little white spot on his side.
