It is important to give them coccidiosis meds.
I would give a Sulfadimenthoxine either Albon or Di-Methox. I used to use the 12.5% solution or you can use the 40% injectable. All are given orally for a period of at least 5 days. I usually give my kids it at three weeks of age, twice daily 1/2 cc mixed with milk for one week (14 doses total) and 1/2 cc dose once a week until weaned.
The 12.5% solution is given Orally, straight, into the mouth using a syringe (remove the needle). Do not just add it to the kid's water because you will not know if he receives the correct dose.
Five day treatment- you must treat the full five days.
Day one: 1 ml per 5 pounds- given orally.
Days 2-5: 1 ml per 10 pounds- given orally
Have you taken her temperature?
What color are the scours? Are they really foul smelling?
Pepto Bismol- for scours
Dose-2cc every 4-6 hours for newborns
Make sure she stays hydrated!!!
If the case is she is getting too much milk at once. Try giving more frequent smaller feedings if possible.
