Nubian X Boer Cross

Hi,
I have a breeding question. I have a 75%boer/saneen kid that I was going to wether. But I thought about keeping him to breed with a purebred nubian(good milker). Would the doe kids from this breeding still be good milkers, considering that boers are not known for their milk? The buck kids, my daughter can use in 4-H.
Thank you
Faye

I would give it a try you can always make him into saugage at a later date ,but his offspring might sell well for goat roasts.too.

You could try it and see. I'm milking a half Boer doe now. The other half is Oberhasli. She has a nice udder, nice conformation, and is shaping up to be a decent milker. Her 3/4 Boer doe kids are pretty cute, too!
