wether or not?

We have several bucks this kidding that we would like to raise for meat. We ate a wether last year and all agreed it was the best meat we've raised yet. If these bucks are left intact and butchered at 7-8 months will the meat taste stronger/different than if we castrated them?
Thanks,
Starlighthill

I have not tried the meat yet, but am told by several people that an intact buck has a different taste. It was said that the meat will have a "Bucky" taste and smell.

Maybe someone that has had both will reply and give you a diffenant answer.
