Goat Nurses Horse!

The March/April issue of the Dairy Goat Journal has an article, complete with pictures, of a goat that adopted a young foal. The owner was milking the goat to feed the young horse, but eventually the horse decided to cut out the middle-man and go straight to the source.

Has anyone ever seen this before?

Haven't seen it myself, but I've got a picture of an Arab filly, Babe Azab, who had a goat (a Toggenburg!) as a foster mother. They put the goat up on a table and let the filly nurse. She grew up to be an influencial broodmare and a lot of Kellog bred Arabs go back to her.
I seem to remember a postcard on E-Bay that showed a human baby being nursed on a goat too! Talk about the universal mother!

We have a dog that nurses our goats. Then again... we've always suspected that dog was a few sandwiches short of a picnic! She licks their faces and bottoms and they think she's their mother. They follow her everywhere. Rather funny.
