Best way to thaw raw milk?

Hi,

Is there any danger in heating frozen raw milk in a hot water bath, then putting it in the refrigerator and using it over the course of a week or so? Or thawing it at room temperature?

I've been thawing my frozen milk in the refrigerator up until now if I wasn't going to use it all at once, but it takes days!

This is milk from a friend's goats, so I can't vouch personally for it's cleanliness, but I've been using it for awhile and it tastes great and I've never gotten sick or anything, so I think she does a good job of keeping anything dangerous out of it.

Thanks!

I put my bottles in th sink at room temp for awhile until half thawed then into the fridge. A gallon takes a whole day in the sink so plan accordingly. Shake vigorously before use.
