Update on doe due

Ok here is the update on my pregnent girl.

I checked her tonight and her ligaments are loose. I mean looser than
the other doe with her for company. Like when I looked at her you
could tell they where loose. They are still there for sure but are
softer noticeably(sp) softer(to even a newbie at this and yes I do
know where the tendens are as my goatie mentor showed them to me)
Right next to her pin heads on either side she is more sunk in also.
I put her in the kidding pen tonight just since she needs to get used
to it (it is just a small corned off area in the pen she is in right
now). I know she won't kid tonight but yea. She is on the way though!
Her udder is not full yet not near being full and tight. No discharge
or anything since she still has *counts on fingers* about 4 days to
go untill her due date. Starting tomorrow I will be watching her like
a hawk.

Her belly isn't lower than it was. When ligements start to loosen
when do you start to watch for kidding? I am not sure how soon after
the ligaments start to loosen that they get looser faster...am I
making any sense? Will her ligaments loosen faster now??

Thanx!

Was begining to get worried about you and your goats since I hadn't seen any posts from you lately. Even made a couple of posts making fun about you sleeping in the barn at night.
The last couple days before kidding starts, you can nearly put your fingers around her tail base. Her tail will look sunk in on both sides where it attaches and very boney. Kidding is getting very close at this stage. I have had one doe that had no mucus up until a couple hours before kidding, but those loose tail ligiments are a sure thing. I was very nervious about my first kidding and my wife a nurse was at work (they seem to know to kid while she is gone).
Hope you and the girls do great. I know you are getting excited and maybe a little nervious, but I'm sure things will be ok. Let us know when they get here. What is your guess on how many she will have? I'm getting good on guessing the amount each doe will have, but was way off last year on what they had. Last year was all boys. Could this year be a all girl year? Have three weeks until I find out.
