To register or not?

I have almost 30 boer goats that I have never registered. I got papers with the grown ones I bought and never transfered them, then along came the babies and now they could be registered. Would it be beneficial to register or is it a waste?
We really have too many and were thinking of selling all the big ones and keeping the babies. Of course then in the future when they have babies we'll want to sell them.
Do registered goats bring that much more money? Enough to pay to have them registered and fool with it?

It does with dairy goats, cow, horses, dogs.... so I'd say yea..

I would register the does. The cost of registration is minor, and should more than pay for itself.

I would register any kept for breeding stock. No point in registering those deemed for meat use of course.
