Mixing grain for Dairy Goats

Hi,
A nearby feed & seed can custom-mix feeds. Does anyone have any suggestions or recipes for a good grain mix for dairy goats?

Dorinda has hers mixed, but I do not know her "recipe". Maybe you could email her. If you want her address pm me.

The first column is the lbs for 2000lbs mix, the second number for 400lbs mix, it comes out to ~13% protein. I know Vicky doesn't like molasses. Next time I think I'm going to eliminate the soy bean meal since I have good hay, it drop the protein back to 11%.

Cracked Corn 450 90
Whole Soft Wheat 300 60
Soybean Meal (50% protein) 100 20
Whole Oats 850 170
Black Oil Sun Flower 150 30
Livestock-grade molasses 125 25
Diamond V yeast culture 25 5

feed

Hi Goatlover, There is a post just a couple days ago by JKD about a good grain mix. There were some good posts on how different ones feed. This might help.
